For almost a full year this sour German-style wheat ale has been resting in a Red Wine Barrel; pulling from the wood notes of blueberry, honey, citrus zest, and floral wine-like characteristics.

Moderate pour yields a fleeting 1/4 inch white head over a bright light amber body with no lacing. Nose of citrus, oak, and ever so slight funk. Taste of citrus, red wine tannins, and oak. Nice feel, and overall, a real nice red wine barrel aged berliner weisse from St. Albans, VT. This would go great with just about any meal you can think of. Cheers!
