On tap at the brewery.
The appearance was a brisk soft copper color with a mild transparency about it. Some carbonation slowly rose up. Not much of a head, just a small wisp of it and barely any lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of orange peel, crushed ginger, cashew sweetness, clean butterscotch, and a touch of toast.
The flavor was moderately sweet with a shy blend of spice punching at the sweetness for a fulfilling blend. Mild malty aftertaste, clean and allowing some spices to blend here.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under. Carbonation felt spot on. ABV felt good. Nicely blended finish between spices and malts - no harshness, nothing cloying.
Overall, lovely Winter Warmer well worthy of having again!
