Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a fabulous looking opaque paper yellow color. Great looking slowly dissipating small white foamy head. Then an awesome spreading lace wove its way around my glass.
The aroma sharpened its hoppy citrus rind-like hops into some bitter to zesty character. Some grassiness lingers in with a little bit of zappy white pepper and a touch of papaya flesh ever so slightly on the back end.
The flavor moderately presented a fair balance between the zesty and bitter citrus rind-like hops to a slight grassy zappy sweet rolling into that ever so light papaya. Zesty to bitter aftertaste of grassiness, citrus rind and white pepper.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Nice low carbonation about it. Sturdy ABV as projected. Slight finish of bitter to zesty citrusy rind strength.
Overall, a bit different than expected but turned out very good and well worthy of coming back to.
