Treated as a session New England styled IPA and I poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt yellow color with a touch of transparency about it. A level foamy white head sat there for a good minute before gently dissipating. Foamy filmy lace graced my glass nicely.
The aroma had a crisp semi-sweet pine rolling into some melon, citrus and pineapple whiffs. Lean cracker malt subsiding stealthily in the backbone.
The flavor had a zesty hoppy sweet contour playing with the cracker malt very nicely. Mellow aftertaste of zesty piney hops and an ever so slight touch of cracker malt.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a nice semi-quenching ability to be quite sessionable. Carbonation felt between a New England styled one and an American styled IPA (not high but not too low, just right). Semi-smooth finish of pineapple, pine and guava skin.
Overall, pretty nicely done American or New England styled IPA depending upon how one looks at it.
