Can to tulip.
This is a variant of regular Tribute. Best by date of 01/28/20 on bottom rim.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a rugged burnt orange color with a quarter finger's worth of white foamy head lingering for a good minute.
The aroma had some orangey pulpy hoppy attritbutes while providing a little bit of stiff biscuity to clean semi-caramel/toffee malts.
The flavor leaned towards a malty bittersweet character initially but did develop some grassy to semi-piney hop bitterness. Aftertaste was all about the malts, clean and beer while some muted grassy hops linger in.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied and felt really good with some hop oils and a soft glaze of a sticky grip. Finishes semi-crisp with some hop oil dryness.
Overall, gonna have to say original Tribute is better than this. But I don't wanna knock this one too much since it is brewed for a great cause.
