From a 16oz can, dated (Pkg) 4/26/23 into a 20oz pint glass.
Pours a translucent pale yellow with about one finger of white head. Weak retention. Decent lacing.
Aromas of bread and cut grass. Warming let's loose some marijuana aroma.
Taste is more on the spicy hoppy side with bread in the background. Bitter. Tastes more like a Czech pilsner on warming.
Thin to medium bodied. Spicy bitter aftertaste. Almost a little dry on the finish. Low to med carb.
This is a decent enough beer. Wondering if better fresher. Hops and malts just seem a bit muted.

Canned 6/22/22. Pours a golden blonde hue with a decent head into my glass. Pillowy malt greets the nose with a touch of hop character. Taste is clean and crisp upfront with a doughy mouthfeel. The clean finish would make it a strong candidate for a lawn mowing session. I hope to see more offerings like this from 14th Star. Get it.
