On tap at Native Son Alehouse in Santa Ana, CA.

This is a weird one (kind of like the Sara Highland lookalike that works here). I mean, hell... this is an odd one. It’s tastes like Mr. Ed’s dinner, and it’s hella dry like Erich von Stroheim shooting “Greed” in Death Valley. Wow! It’s not the best by any means, but it’s palatable enough like my baby mama after a yoga sesh.

I was pleasantly surprised by this brew. Bottled 1/23 and still seemed brewery fresh. Pours extremely pale yellow, clear as water. Very light with a thin head with lacing that sticks.

Smells like most pilsners, a bit of zing and clear cut. Tastes crisp and refreshing, the light pilsner hop flavour comes through and sticks around just long enough to enjoy it. Goes down real smooth.

Enjoyed this one on a cool day outside and loved every sip. Will definitely have this one again when I can. Would love to try this on tap.

Very pale golden color with a low head in the Affligem chalice. Quite spritzy on the tongue with a nice sudsy mouthfeel. Fragrant and flowery.

Light and lemony with some resiny hops. Slightly sweet and less bitter than a lot of Pilseners. Some fruit flavors of pear and nectarine. HInts of toasted brioche with some lime peel in the finish.

Highly drinkable with a little more substance and mellowness than you might expect from a Pilsener. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at the brewery taproom in Temecula.

On tap at Wiens Brewing Company in Temecula, CA.

Pours a clear yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and grassy aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.
