A little dark for an IPA, not much foam head. Not a strong aroma but what's there is pleasant. Nice taste with a sweet twist mixed with the hops; bitter side smooth and tasty. Body just right for a single IPA.

Overall a bit too malty for my taste. Dark red color, piney and malty on the taste with a hint of fruit. Very smooth and we'll balanced but misses the mark a bit for my taste. Bottle is from 4/29/15 as listed on bottle so it may have lost some of the fruity notes they speak of on label.

Sampled on tap at Srone as they didn't have anything interesting of their own wares on tap. Rich reddish brown with a slight head that dissipates into nice lacing. Nose presents sage, juniper, lemon and sweet malt backing. Sweet flavor up front with nice spicy hop notes on the back end. Flavor cut through the spicy flavor of my Peruvian chicken entree and paired wonderfully.
