This beer pours a pale amber with a large head. The aroma features classic Belgian notes of bubblegum, apricot, and banana, as well as a bit of black pepper, kiwi, and melon. The flavor starts wit a hit of bubblegum and underripe banana, followed by toffee and butterscotch malt, and then a moderate hit of bitterness accompanied by grapefruit peel, tangerine peel, and mango. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with effusive, foamy carbonation. Overall this is a very tasty and satisfying beer, delivering exactly the kind of flavor the name promises.

Poured from a 16oz can into glass. No canning date information found.
Cloudy, deep gold colored body. Creamy, off white head. Some spots of lacing, but most slide down into beer.
Belgian yeast esters in the aroma, with tropical and citrus fruit additions.
Candied sugar taste, balanced by bittering hops. Some yeast esters, too.
Medium, coating mouth feel.
Well done for an American IPA, done with Belgian yeast. Good balance, with enjoyable mouth feel and good presentation.

On draft. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a large, fluffy head of white foam. It smelled of caramel, bubblegum and orange peel. Sweet caramel and orange with a slightly phenolic bitterness.

Crisp and dry but comes across more bitter than citric pine-resin-y IPA

Pours a cloudy burnt orange with a big head and good retention. Smells fantastic: quite fruity, which is definitely the Belgian side of things, with a hoppy, resiny undertone that is less pronounced. Tastes citrus-y to start, but the hops quickly overtake it for a bitter, dry finish. Medium to thick mouthfeel, but still quite refreshing. Overall, this probably isn't my first choice for an IPA, but it definitely has me interested in the style.

S: Belgian fruit and spice yeast aromas and American citrus, floral, resiny hops.
L: pours amber gold permeated by streams of moderately fast rising bubbles under a 2" lacy white foam cap with moderate retention.
T: Initial fruit and Belgian yeast flavors yield to an assertive hop bitterness. The flavors include citrus, biscuit, fruit, and over ripe fruit. The fruit and hints of bubblegum from the yeast blend nicely with the citrus and melon from the hops. The finish is dry and bitter but very juicy.
F: Blacklist has nailed the mousse-like Belgian Golden Strong texture. The body is medium to medium light and the carbonation is medium high to high.
O: This is a very flavorful, well made Belgian IPA.

16oz can with no date. Hazy amber with a finger of head that slowly settled to a thin cap. Just a few specks of lacing is left down the glass. Plenty of Belgian yeast notes in the aroma. I pick up vinous notes along with bubblegum. That is accompanied by citrus and grass from the hops. The flavor is very fruity. I get citrus, grapes, and some tropical fruit. Spicy phenols proceed the bitterness. Nicely carbonated but the body thins out way to quickly.
