Pours a clear amber with a pure white head that dissipates quickly. Smells overwhelmingly hoppy, slightly grassy , no malt presence at all. The taste is unfortunately similar--this is a very bitter beer with little malt to balance it out, not at all what I expect from a pale ale. Smooth, slightly sticky mouthfeel that I quite like, leaves a dry finish. Definitely not the best Blacklist has to offer, but the name is 10/10.
