Poured from a 473mm can the 9th June 18 brewed 24th May 18. Contains Amarillo, Centennial and Galaxy hops.
Style :American IPA 6.7 % alc/vol.
Pours a nice medium blond with a slight haze. Two inch head melts away in a few minutes. Lots of lacing.
Smells of citrus, grapefruit and west coast hops.
A lovely complex mixture of pine, citrus and malts that is also quite soft and subtle. The carbonation is also subtle and non aggressive. If you keep the sip in your mouth the carbonation just expands and helps float the various flavors. There is some warmth from the alcohol but it is nicely balanced with the hops. There is plenty of body but its not too sweet.
I will have to make a trip to the brewpub and try it out of a cask! A great IPA !
