A Belgian-inspired Black Ale with herbal, toasted aroma. Medium body, smooth texture, with bitter chocolate flavor in full support of the Ardennes yeast character. Long dry finish, turns from sweet to bitter.

Khaki head; thick lace.

Had on tap. Dark brown opaque pour, faint white ring. Smells of toast, dark chocolate, tobacco, earth and belgian yeast. Taste takes all of that and adds in black pepper, light roast coffee grounds, banana, and belgian species, great example of style. Feel is so smooth while staying roasted, dark and full. Best BDB I have had in awhile

Taste: big toasty dark chocolate malts, Belgian bready notes, burnt toffee, coffee. Same with the nose. Black/Brown in color, mostly opaque. Medium almost full body. Rich mouthfeel. 28 IBUs

I can't believe Navette doesn't get more love here. Very nice Belgian Black Ale...tastes delicious and goes down incredibly smooth.
