Floral hop and orange zest aroma, with an abundance of citrusy hop goodness and coriander bitterness lingering throughout.

On tap, poured into a pint glass. The aroma is a mellow, soapy lemon with a subtle grassy and floral character developing late before settling on a bread note. The beer is a pale straw color and hazy with a dense white froth that has alright lace and retain. The taste is medium sweet and slightly less than medium bitter. The texture is creamy with a soft fizz carbonation. The medium light body consists of lemon and toast flavors with a bitter herb to it. The zippy finish has a spice to it; it's short and quick and crisp with a refreshing, clean grass and light lemon aftertaste that doesn't stick around long.

12oz, bottled on 12/05/14
A - huge, white head stands head and shoulders above the top of the glass, holding excellent retention atop a very pale, hazed straw colored ale
S - citric nose with Wit yeast; orange rind, peppery coriander, fresh grapefruit
T - very flavorful with orange and grapefruit zest, pepper, coriander, yeast, cracked wheat; bitter and spicy
M - medium body, higher carbonation makes it feel full and allows the vast flavors to travel the palate
O - really solid White IPA. This is a rare style I've grown to love & this is a good one. Everything I've had from Penrose has been excellent!
