Inspired by Chai tea, Spectral introduces a plethora of Indian spices into a Belgian stout. Floral cardamom, spicy ginger and sweet vanilla build on flavors of dark chocolate and caramel to showcase a unique complexity.

This is the Chai spiced beer brewed for the 2014/2015 winter. It's a slightly thin but very roasty stout. This beer is all chai, through and through. On the nose, taste, finish and everything. If you love chai, this was the beer for you.

Jet black with a nice tan/offwhite head that dissipates quickly. The smell is interesting with a hint of the chai spices but not overpowering. A bit roasty as well. The mouthfeel is thin for a stout especially with the added flavors. They don't coat the mouth or carry through the tasting. The flavor is certainly interesting and its own. It's caught somewhere between the spices being the driver and the base beer being lost in the thinness.
