A smooth semi sweet chocolate presence from the special blend of malts opens up into vibrant fruity flavors from the cherry puree to introduce a balanced, blended brown ale, not to be confused with an Oud Bruin, with flavors reminiscent of a black forest cake.

Look: Dark brown cola color. A finger of foamy off-white head. Not much lacing on the glass when I finished.
Smell: Sweet malts, dark fruits, and tons of cherry.
Taste: The flavors follow the nose, but there are some caramel notes that I didn't get in the aroma. Nicely balanced, and as complex as a brown ale needs to be without over doing it. Delicious.
Feel: Slightly creamy, but not too heavy to fit the brown ale profile. Light to medium carbonation. Very drinkable.
Overall: A really good tasting cherry flavored brown ale. It doesn't overdo the fruit, there is definitely enough malt presence to make this a really balanced brew.
