Canned 12/26/17. Cloudy dark straw/yellow color. Light/creamy foam and lacing. Dank and slightly bitter hop nose, very slight citrus notes. Taste is citrusy, mildly dank and gently bitter. Crisp, easy sipper, barely detectable 8 percent abv. Tasty.

Tasted in a snifter from draft at Consume on January 19, 2018. Look is slightly hazy orange gold with a thick head and lingering lacing. Smell and taste is juicy tropical and citrus fruit. Feel is medium in body.

12oz, canned on 12/26/17. Very hazy pale yellow colored ale with a tall frothy white head that slowly fades. Big tropical hop aroma with passion fruit leading the charge; some lemon-lime and pineapple in the background. Assertive bitterness meets tart tropical fruits with notes of passion fruit, lemon-lime zest, Mandarin orange, and a modest wheat malt backbone. Medium, resinous body, finishing dry and pungently bitter. Very solid IPA bordering on a DIPA. Highly recommendable local brew. I'd definitely drink this again.

Look: Slightly Hazy
Smell: This is a juice bomb. I had one that had been canned two days prior and I could just sit there all day and smell it
Taste: Very juicy up front, a little bitterness at the end but not overwhelming. Hides the alcohol well
Feel: medium body and feels almost soft
Overall: This is a juice bomb alright. Had it on tap at the brewery and out of a can later that night. Both times it was ultra fresh and it was outstanding. It's called a Midwest IPA which I didn't even know was a thing but apparently it is. Hazy and juicy up front with great aroma like a NE IPA but also has a little bit at the end like a west coast IPA. Great beer and very well made by Penrose.
