Canned 9/27/17
Saturated orange, slight haze. Ample head and drippy lacing.
Aroma is all caramel malt and orange peel, not getting much fresh hop.
Taste is fine, more caramel malt and orange citrus, lightly resinous.
Slightly bitter dry finish, sweet malty middle, decent carbonation.
Pretty standard issue IPA.
Not much wet hop subtlety, if that's what you're after like I was.
Doesn't seem like a wet hop beer at all, maybe it's faded already at 6 weeks?

This is a wet-hop IPA that is made with wet Chinook hops which gives it a kind of earthy smell. The taste follows the smell for the most part and it has a little bit of a dry bitter finish. The IBU on this beer is 67. This is another beer by Penrose that I had on tap at the brewery and in a can that was canned earlier in the week. So both times it was really fresh. Overall another really good offering by Penrose.
