Aroma is berries/fruit, mild sweetness and big vinegar. The flavor is berries, malts, vanilla/cake and a medium sweet/tart/very mild funky/smooth finish.

8oz can, no apparent freshness date (the Haze Down Under can it was released with is dated 03/27/19). Bright purple colored body with a thin purple-pink head. Boysenberry and blackberry aroma; both sweet and tart. Flavors are sweet, fruity, and tart with boysenberry and blackberry front and center; the vanilla and lactose come through in the background. Medium body, moderate carbonation, tart yet balanced finish. Bold berry flavored sour - I like it! I'll have to try the other can mixed with Haze Down Under to create the "Over-Under" as the brewery suggests.

Had on tap. Opaque violet body with a head of small white bubbles. Smell features berries: boysenberry, blueberry, blackberry, with a heavy dose of vanilla and sugar with some sour afteraromas. Mouthfeel is cool and refreshing, though admittedly a little thin on the backend where I wanted more sour pucker. Taste is cool berry, lots of sweet berries, and drank like a fruit juice. Would be great in july on the porch
