12.68oz thick, heavy bottle dated 04/19/19 poured into a snifter shows a clear, coppery, orange colored body and floats a 1/2in cap of tight off-white bubbles and leaves erratic spotted lacing.
Aromas of tart fruits jump from the glass mid pour with a vinous backbone.
The flavors match. I can't locate the individual fruits, specifically, but I appreciate the sweet and tart mix with mangoes, pineapple, and guava. The clear agave note and earthy oak from the tequila barrel give balance to the pucker.
Mouthfeel is medium, leaning light, with a slight stickiness, or rather, just a lingering aftertaste of wood, agave, and life.
Overall a fine example of the style as I continue to learn about sours.

Dark amber clear body with no foam. Get plenty of tequila booze off the nose, with some pineapple and guava, no mango though. Taste honestly has more wood, agave, and tequila booze than anything, with pineapple, guava, mango, caramel, and slight coconut all falling to the background. Not overly sour, just big booze in the finish. Needs some fine tuning with the barrel balance
