For this collaboration brew, we teamed up with our friends over at Noon Whistle Brewing to cross our two NE / Midwest Style IPAs and investigate process differences between our breweries. Each brewery makes regular Hazy IPAs but uses slightly different brewing and cellaring methods to get there. Soft adjunct characters, glowing hop aromas, and plenty of dart throwing ensued while we tested our brewing theories.

This may be a five month plus can unless they mismarked. Pale straw, mild head and lacing. Citrusy nose and taste. If it’s faded, then it’s a strong ass beer. Medium bodied, mildly boozy, mouth watering. I love Penrose, and once I saw they did one with Noon Whistle....fuck. If this was from March, I wish I

16oz can
super excited about this collaboration!
L: hazy & opaque yellowy body with a creamy off-white head
S: juicy & tart citrus and tropical fruit
T: tangy grapefruit, lemon, & orange; passion fruit, lemongrass, lime, peach
F: fuller body, moderate carbonation, tart and slightly bitter finish
O: this was good, but I think I like them separated out. I’ve had a couple of Noon Whistle Gummys that we’re good, but I LOVE Penrose Goofy Boots. Nevertheless, this was a fun one

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
