Black/brown appearance.
A rough pour yielded a small, noisy tan head; minimal lace.
STRONG maple syrup & faint vanilla notes in the nose.
Thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Maple syrup & some alcohol astringency; not much else.
The base beer is dominated by the maple syrup; it's cloying to the point of being tough to drink. Permanent pass, from me.
