A collaborative creation by Penrose and Graham’s Chocolates, is a luscious fusion of chocolate and craft brewing in Geneva. Pouring a rich, velvety brown, this porter envelops your senses with an irresistible aroma of roasted malt and chocolate, using the same chocolate ingredients as Graham’s Chocolates. With each sip, you’ll be treated to a luxurious medley of chocolate and roasted malt, perfectly balancing sweetness and bitterness. What makes this brew even sweeter is that part of the proceeds supports Tri-City Family Services, making it a delightful indulgence that gives back to the community. Cheers to Geneva this Fall and Winter season!

The label reads "Graham's Chocolate Ale" and that's exactly how I would describe the the overall feel I get from it. Pours a dark amber with very little head and no lacing. At first sip, I get coco nibs and caramel malt. After letting it warm a tad, I get sweeter milk chocolate flavor. I think it's a good beer for someone who loves beer and chocolate (both dark and milk chocolate). The chocolate + beer profile here lies somewhere in the middle. A little bitter and a little sweet, which is very pleasant for me personally.

I got a tall boy can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured an opaque dark with thin off white ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had milk chocolate notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet milk chocolate malt base with subtle roast presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
