Visited during a recent crawl of the Aleyards (Rainhard, Junction, and Shacklands).
Had the Bière de Garde on tap and bought the Belgian Blonde, Farmhouse IPA, Belgian Porter, Tripel, and Fuzzier Peach Brett IPA to go. The Biere de Garde was average, while the beers that I brought home ranged from mediocre (Fuzzier Peach) to good (Farmhouse). Prices were quite high IMO.
That said, the service I received at the bar was excellent, and the bartender even gave me a tulip glass for free, which was incredibly nice of him. The basement-like atmosphere, meanwhile, is quirky in a good way, and unlike any other brewery in Toronto.
However, until the beer quality improves, I don't see myself coming here too often. It's still a fairly new operation, so hopefully things progress and they find their footing.
