Notes:
Brewed with orange, raisins, pink peppercorns, and cloves, this imperial stout pours dark and thick, emitting hints of Christmas spice and extinguished yule logs. Look for dark roast with port-like counter notes, while orange and spice subtly emerge on the finish.

A good RIS with an excellent sense of humor. Rare is the Holiday ale that is a stout (my first such, as I recall.) And it helps.
There are bigger RIS, but none I've had think-outside-the-box as well as Fatigue.
I held this for about three weeks, waiting for a RIS devotee to make the first review so I could offer a counter-point. It didn't work out that way, yet. For now, this RIS-sceptic is all you get.
With a reasonably hard pour, Fatigue Looks average because its foam disappears. Smells are strong, chocolate followed by holiday spices... but not particularly distinct. I like the Taste of Fatigue; interesting with the peppercorn and holiday spices and, generally, balanced without more than a clue that the alcohol is 9.5%. In the mouth, the RIS competition I like leaves a viscous coating; but Fatigue, less so... On second thought, this is almost thoughtful because with a month of having my mouth coated with butter fat, it is nice to have my palate cleansed by spices that do not rely on hops.
I'm a big fan of Off Color (they are my most reviewed brewer.) They are funnier than me (and I probably set a lower standard than I know.) And Off Color certainly know more about ales than I ever will. That said, I'm ready to buy another 4-pack next year and give 3 to my siblings... so they don't have their feelings hurt if I don't show up for Christmas dinner.
1/5/21 Had the second can finally and edited the review above and am satisfied with it and will keep count over UnTappd. Happy Holidays !
