This would be a very good beer without the vanilla, which overwhelms both the aroma and the taste. It's pretty light, crisp, and refreshing otherwise. I love how Off Color takes risks, but this one is a misfire.

Aroma is strong grainy malts and sweet/slightly tart peaches. The flavor is big peaches/fruit, malts/grains, citrus and a spicy/kind of surprising given the style spicy Belgian/German Hefeweizen yeast finish.

L: Pours a cloudy darker yellow with a medium white head and no lacing on the glass.
S: Apricot and peach are forefront followed by grain, a hint of vanilla and a Belgiany yeast strain.
T: Sweet grain, clove, hints of peach and apricot, a hint of vanilla, and then some strong Belgiany yeast. Definitely an interesting beer.
F: Crisp and prickly almost feels a little lagery.
O: This one is definitely a bit different but I like it quite a bit.

Had at our annual march madness party, yay marketing totally working on me! Opaque cloudy orange body, pinky finger of white foam. Peach puree with vanilla and grain in nose. Taste is peach and vanilla with creamy yeast. Light and bright, easy drinking, not complex but goes down easily

Amazing beer - off color is doing stuff no one else dares to try. Peach and vanilla is perfectly balanced with the cream ale. Not sure why it is for hoops - maybe the old peach baskets. Another monster from craft beers mad scientists!

Bought from a miscellany 12-pack from The Mousetrap, I thought I'd save my only Beer for Hoops for the true start of March Madness.
A refreshing ale; sweet to be sure, but quenching. Looks average but aromas of peach and vanilla are welcome... even if they become slightly artificial in the Taste. Cleanses the palate well. Decided it would work on an Indian dal and it did its job. Again, Off Color's creativity and versatility at the table shows through. Swish !

Beer for Hoops as the series rolls on. Beer and Hoops are two of my top passions in life so I was excited, to say the least, on this mash up. The beer is a soft and pillowy peach ale that is perfect for the end of summer and early fall. It isn’t your traditional fruit or fruited ale and I am refreshed by this fact. It doesn’t try to be too much, just a nice creamy ale with a touch of peach. The beer inspires me to go find a peach basket and nail it to a wooden post; then shoot a couple hoops on it.
