"Plant Club is a Belgian Style Golden Ale with Brett. Expect heady, aromatic tones of peach tea, lilacs, and toasted honey with a dry, mineral finish reminiscent of lackadaisical days sipping alpine white wines in warm, spring meadows dappled by golden sunshine and carefree whimsy.
This one is available exclusively at Mousetrap."

Look: It pours golden with light hazing and a white head. Head retention is low.
Smell: There are light brett notes in the aroma with some spice.
Taste: There are some leather elements in the flavor with some lemon and spice. It has low vinous levels and very low peach levels.
Feel: It has a medium body with a dry finish.
Overall: The beer was good, but I would have like some more. Three quarters of the beer foamed out of the bottle and was lost on the floor.

First, I've asked a Moderator to correct my mistake; this clearly is a Belgian-inspired golden ale.
Second, the Brett is applied well... not too tart. A friendly complement to a simple soup for lunch.
Plant Club Looks clear like a lager and, eventually, flat like a Wild or Brett. Smells are mostly malt and Brett's indescribables. Tastes are mostly Brett with the hops finishing strong. Light in my mouth, it also was soft; I presume from flaked wheat and oats. Plant Club was decent at cleansing my palate for another spoonful of my world-famous vegetable soup.
As much as I like OCB's sense of humor, I don't think I get this joke. Is this a play on plant-based food?
Whatever the explanation, the mice are adorable as usual. My high Overall Hugs are not just because OCB is my favorite micro. Their beers using Brett are also the few that I repeat. I just bought a 4-pack at The Mousetrap and am not done with this review.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
