A blueberry imperial oatmeal stout.
Pours black with minimal white head. Aroma is roasty, dark chocolate and light roast coffee, blueberry, and the sugars from the oats. Flavor is bold and roasty, chocolate and light roast coffee, blueberry, sugars from the oats, and a bitter hoppy finish. All the flavors that are there are good, but it just doesn't gel as tightly as it should, IMO. Not to say its watery, but there is a diluteness to the beer if that makes any sense. A creamy, smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel, Overall, decent enough beer but one that could use a touch more tweaking in the execution I think. If they do that, this beer could be a definite winner. Would not be opposed to drinking this, as is, again though.
