Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a dark, brown to black coloring, with a frothy tan head. Nose of subtle chocolate and caramel, with crème overtones and a subtle bitterness. Flavors are roasted caramel forward, with a tangy sweet cocoa backbone, sugary sweet highlights, and a subtle bitterness in the tail-end. Smooth, with a subtle dryness. The aftertaste is sweet nut and roast. The finish is smooth, with a roasted and bitter linger.
