Wow................................................................... The other two Pure Imaginations are great, but this is definitely it's final form. Have never been more surprised by a beer, you NEED to do this again Verboten! Whatever barrels you used for this beer, use them again, do everything the exact same, I am amazed. Best oatmeal stout I've ever had. This was bottled exclusively for Wilbur's. Josh said to hang on to it for a month or two before drinking and it's probably nine months old at this point, been in the fridge the entire time. Picked it up the day of the Mountain Man release. Verboten is making their way into the "something special" category for me. I am starting to consider them the Cannonball Creek of whiskey barrel aged beers. No one in Colorado comes close to Cannonball Creek for IPAs, overall, and it's the same with whiskey barrel aged beer and Verboten. Only Bull & Bush and maybe aged BA Avarice have a say in this fight and those beers are a level or two under this one, imo.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
