My bestie from Charlotte NC gave me a can of this beer from a beer of the month pack that he got. It poured a smoothie thick golden hazy with fizzy white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank dark fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. The big carbonation affected to taste for sure...there was bright citrus and some bitterness. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with huge carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.

Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is nice, hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, guava), nice little diesel/pine like. The taste is nice, hoppy, malty, nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, guava), nice little diesel/pine like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a tasty beer. A different take on the style.

12oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, cream-colored head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of pineapple, mango, guava and citrus. Sweet tropical fruit taste with sweet caramel and toffee. Bitter but not overly sharp.
