Mostly clear, dark brown body; thin yet lasting head, creamy. Fine toasted malt nose; chocolate and light booze; brown sugar and tobacco. Earthy sweetness and boozy; dark pitted fruits; raisins, leather, tobacco; low-key oak presence. Heavy body; smooth; velvety; subliminal alcohol warmth.
Overall, a nice barrel aged barleywine with some subtle cognac notes.
