Our award winning barleywine aged for 22 months. We first aged it 16 months in a single cask small batch bourbon barrel then 6 months in a single cask rye whiskey barrel.

Had on tap. Brown somewhat clear body with lighter edges, paper bag brown cap. Nose is so potent with rye and bourbon playing up caramel, molasses, rustic oak, barley and big dark fruits. Taste is much the same, some earthiness thrown in, barrel depth is not as high as nose though. Feel is warm and sneaky rugged with good maltwork, barley, and barrel all interacting complimentary
