Pours a dark brown color. Very pretty. Smell is a little on the weaker side, smells nutty, toasty, and roasty, with a small alcohol tinge. The taste is much better than the smell, tastes nutty, smoky, almost charcoaly (in a good way), it's borderline porter tasting. Very nice. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with mild carbonation that prickles the tongue. Overall this is a nice hybrid between a nut brown ale and a porter that I would definitely get again.
