Beautiful coppery color with a short-lived head in the flared Pilsner glass. Moderate carbonation in the mouth.
Pleasant zingy roasted taste with intriguing Belgian flavors. some sweet malt and the candi taste. Rather rich with a more substantial body. Some spicy notes like cardamom and nutmeg add to the interest. The yeasty dryness comes around after some sipping.
A really pleasant malty brew with a modest ABV. An excellent quaff. On tap at DDogs Restaurant in downtown Riverside.
