Nose was unusual (tropical, cleaning product, bubble gum) but taste was fresh hop with little malt. Northwest IPA hop profile mixed with San Diego malt profile. Much better than initial sniff indicated.

Look: Pours a light amber with a slight head and minimal lacing on the side of a standard pint glass
Smell: Slightly sweet with a very faint citrus undercurrent. I detect no pine smell, however.
Taste: Hoppy but definitely not a hop-bomb; slight aftertaste of tropical fruit
Feel: In my mouth this feels like a "fuller" beer than either the smell or the taste reveals. It's in no way thick, but much less bracing than I expect an IPA to be.
Overall: Tried this on a whim, and I find it quite drinkable, despite it's divergence from my IPA ideals. Probably a good bottle to have around for when I have friends over who think they don't like IPAs, but I probably won't seek it out again for myself

average-looking IPA pour, right yellow, minimal head....very interesting, indescribable aroma. light, thin flavor with pine and bitterness but yet something different.....? overall, a very nice brew. and i respect UCLABrewN84 very much but hate that people can add beers arbitrarily without giving a review or rating which, essentially validates the brew's existence.....

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
