Aerialist Spring Lager brewed by Hi-Wire Brewing, with an ABV of 5.50% This American Pale Ale pours out a light hazy cloudy amber color with a small white head. Now Aerialist Spring Lager is an unfiltered brew, you can not see this brew . This brew was poured from a 12oz glass bottle in a pint beer glass. There is also some nice lacing to this brew, it sticks to the side of the glass well. The smell of Aerialist Spring Lager is rich with hop bitterness, earthy grains and malts. You also pick up on some citrus flavors and mirror spices. So far this is a nice inviting brew, now for the taste, it is Bold with flavors. You first pick up on the hop bitterness, then a nice smooth ending with earthy grains and malts. Lots of fruit notes in the taste of this brew as well. The body of Aerialist Spring Lager is a soild medium. There is nothing overpowering about this brew, it has a super nice balance to it. This brew would go nice with dinner on a warm spring or summer day. The mouth feel is Bold, Rich, Hoppy, Clean, Smooth and Refreshing. Overall I'm going to give Aerialist Spring Lager a 4.25 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again giving the opportunity to. Hi-Wire Brewing, did a real nice job with this brew.

From a 12 oz bottle in a snifter. This mighty fine lager pours
a nice lightly hazy pale straw color with a very nice head of white
foam that subsides to a thick ring, thick layer, and shows some
mighty fine lacing. Nose of light melon, pear, grapefruit, grape,
and zesty spicy hops. Flavors succeed in a fine presentation
of a pale lager with light breaded malts and a decent amount of
cracker taken into a tornado of grassy and spicy hops. Melon and
lemon zest present themselves nicely with a grapefruit note that
fades into even more grassy and herbal hops. Very nice mouth
feel; crisp, lightly coating from the hops, medium carbonation that
is perfect for the style, and a nice citrus laden subtly dry finish.

Excellent.

Cheers

Poured one and a half bottles into a half liter stein a very light golden with a nice billowing nearly two finger bone white head that had very good retention.A mix of crisp toasted malts, and a mix of herbal and citric hops in the nose.Quite dry and crisp on the palate with a lemon tinge coming thru,as I drink more the toast maltiness shows up more, herbal in the back end.I just wanted a lager with a little substance after work today, this fit the bill nicely.

Bottled on 2/26/18. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a light pale golden with some haze to it; big fluffy eggshell white head that sticks around leaving great thick retention and sticky frothy lacing. The aromas have mild hints of citrus along with some malts, bread and grains. Some fresh grass and pear. The flavors follow the nose. More pear along with some hints of white grapes. Lots of fresh grass. Bread and crackers are there. Mild hints of grapefruit in the finish. Malts do their thing. Moderate to low bitterness. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is light with moderate carbonation. It's extremely fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a nice lager. The hops are there, but don't dominate. It's very refreshing and fun to drink. The craftsmanship is on point. Enjoyable stuff. I like it.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 5/18/2017. Pours lightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts the whole glass. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of tangerine, peach, apricot, lemon, pear, apple, mango, melon, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, cracker, white bread, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of tangerine, peach, lemon, pear, apple, mango, melon, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, cracker, white bread, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, peach, apricot, lemon, pear, apple, mango, melon, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, cracker, white bread, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Lightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a very good hoppy pale lager style. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the mildly bitter finish. Balanced Hull Melon/Mandarina hops and Pils malt flavors. Very flavorful for the ABV. Nice hop flavor presence, without much bitterness. A very enjoyable offering.

L - Pale yellow with clarity, 1/2 a finger of head and some lacing

S - German pilsner malts, biscuits

T - Biscuit, german hops. More like a pilsner than a lager

F - Light body and crisp

O - An average lager, probably refreshing on a hot summer day

Poured 12 oz. bottle of Hi-Wire Aerilist Summer Lager into a Tipping Point pub glass...fair head, dissipating quickly. Very lemonade appearance...The aromas? Holy fresh fruit, like a fruit basket! German Huell Melon and Mandarina Bavaria hops blast off nicely, asking me nicely to chug it down...
SO light, dry and yet the fruit peel and rind effects trick the mind into thinking it is an ipa or apa. But it's so smooth, and un- bitter in taste, that it cannot be...it's just clean and light and champagne-ish. The malts are hidden in there somewhere I suppose...so very different and refreshing, to say it quickly...I've had two 6 packs of this in the last month or so, and will have more until season ends. Truly unique and refreshing. Definitely a mainstay of my warm weather seasonals. Hi-WIre is one of the best brewers in the US/world, if you ask me.

While the beer could just as aptly been named Houdini, its a lager that drinks like IPA. Drying the malt backbone to near pin-point perfection with the frame of a lager, the light bodied beer. And they newly developed Germanic hops are far from the traditional saazer types and more resemble those of the pacific northwest.

Aerialist layers into the glass with a bright and golden hue, only a hint of keller-bier haze to provide a modest translucent glow. Aromas of orange, peach and other stone fruit ride along with faint apple, melon and bread. Early sweetness greets the tongue with part grain and part malt for a crisp and cracker-like breadiness that's soon to dissolve.

And as the sweetness and malty structures retreat, the hops build in with the taste of citrus and orchard fruit. White grapefruit, slightly under-ripened orange, light lemon and apple precede a spicy, herbal and lightly piney bitterness. Hints of honeydew, kiwi and nectarine waft about with a peppery, gin-like bitterness that follows suit.

Light bodied, crisp and clean, the beer's grain character is sharp and refreshing, never distracting or unnecessarily astringent. A quick finish offers a glimmer of citrus and spruce with a light mint and tea linger in slight aftertaste.
