This warm weather lager showcases the German hops Huell Melon and Mandarina Bavaria. Light on the palate with big hop flavors of peach and apricot, this beer satisfies the desire for an easy drinking, hop-forward beer.

Pours a lightly hazy pale straw/golden like color with a nice two finger white head that leaves gobs of sheet lace down my pint glass.

Aroma is light crisp fruity notes apricot, pear, peach, honey dew melons on a nice cracker like bready malt base. Hops are fruity and herbal earthy hints thrown in for good measure. Smells like spring or guess more aptly summer in a glass with all the fruity notes.

Taste is following the nose nice cracker like malt base loaded with fruits apricot, pear, peach melons white grapes nice with a touch of zing thrown in from the carbonation. Finish is lingering fruits and some herbal hop kick to finish this crisp brew off.

Mouthfeel is light with pretty peppy carbonation which I usually don't like but it fits this beer to a tee.

Overall can't believe I haven't tried this one before as I like about everything Hi-Wire does. had 6 already and have already got more this is my new favorite light seasonal I do believe.

Aerialist Spring Lager brewed by Hi-Wire Brewing, with an ABV of 5.50% This American Pale Ale pours out a light hazy cloudy amber color with a small white head. Now Aerialist Spring Lager is an unfiltered brew, you can not see this brew . This brew was poured from a 12oz glass bottle in a pint beer glass. There is also some nice lacing to this brew, it sticks to the side of the glass well. The smell of Aerialist Spring Lager is rich with hop bitterness, earthy grains and malts. You also pick up on some citrus flavors and mirror spices. So far this is a nice inviting brew, now for the taste, it is Bold with flavors. You first pick up on the hop bitterness, then a nice smooth ending with earthy grains and malts. Lots of fruit notes in the taste of this brew as well. The body of Aerialist Spring Lager is a soild medium. There is nothing overpowering about this brew, it has a super nice balance to it. This brew would go nice with dinner on a warm spring or summer day. The mouth feel is Bold, Rich, Hoppy, Clean, Smooth and Refreshing. Overall I'm going to give Aerialist Spring Lager a 4.25 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again giving the opportunity to. Hi-Wire Brewing, did a real nice job with this brew.

From a 12 oz bottle in a snifter. This mighty fine lager pours
a nice lightly hazy pale straw color with a very nice head of white
foam that subsides to a thick ring, thick layer, and shows some
mighty fine lacing. Nose of light melon, pear, grapefruit, grape,
and zesty spicy hops. Flavors succeed in a fine presentation
of a pale lager with light breaded malts and a decent amount of
cracker taken into a tornado of grassy and spicy hops. Melon and
lemon zest present themselves nicely with a grapefruit note that
fades into even more grassy and herbal hops. Very nice mouth
feel; crisp, lightly coating from the hops, medium carbonation that
is perfect for the style, and a nice citrus laden subtly dry finish.

Excellent.

Cheers

Poured one and a half bottles into a half liter stein a very light golden with a nice billowing nearly two finger bone white head that had very good retention.A mix of crisp toasted malts, and a mix of herbal and citric hops in the nose.Quite dry and crisp on the palate with a lemon tinge coming thru,as I drink more the toast maltiness shows up more, herbal in the back end.I just wanted a lager with a little substance after work today, this fit the bill nicely.

Bottled on 2/26/18. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a light pale golden with some haze to it; big fluffy eggshell white head that sticks around leaving great thick retention and sticky frothy lacing. The aromas have mild hints of citrus along with some malts, bread and grains. Some fresh grass and pear. The flavors follow the nose. More pear along with some hints of white grapes. Lots of fresh grass. Bread and crackers are there. Mild hints of grapefruit in the finish. Malts do their thing. Moderate to low bitterness. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is light with moderate carbonation. It's extremely fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a nice lager. The hops are there, but don't dominate. It's very refreshing and fun to drink. The craftsmanship is on point. Enjoyable stuff. I like it.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 5/18/2017. Pours lightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts the whole glass. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of tangerine, peach, apricot, lemon, pear, apple, mango, melon, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, cracker, white bread, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of tangerine, peach, lemon, pear, apple, mango, melon, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, cracker, white bread, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, peach, apricot, lemon, pear, apple, mango, melon, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, cracker, white bread, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Lightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a very good hoppy pale lager style. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the mildly bitter finish. Balanced Hull Melon/Mandarina hops and Pils malt flavors. Very flavorful for the ABV. Nice hop flavor presence, without much bitterness. A very enjoyable offering.
