From the bottom of the can, in stretched out text: "PACKAGED 05/18/20"
Appearance: The body is slightly hazy and dirty-amber colored. The head is medium-sized with a frothy white cap. It leaves good lacing and has decent retention.
Aroma: There is a light aroma of cabbage and garlic. It has a catty aroma that comes out more as it sits under the nose. 3.0
Taste: Up front there is a lot of mango flavor with a hint of peach, and this flavor carries through all the way to the end. Towards the middle there is a light bit of grain flour taste. The aftertaste is pretty empty aside from teh mango and peach, but after a while there is a bit of cooked corn flavor that starts to build up and detracts from the flavor quite a bit.
Mouthfeel: It feels light with very little bitterness. It finishes wet.
Overall: The can states that this is a "dry-hopped vienna lager W/ SIMCOE & CITRA & BREWED W/ CAROLINA MALT HOUSE BARLEY." The classic catty and garlic aroma combined with the mango flavors of Simcoe hops really stood out. There was a nice peach flavor which also really showcased the hops. The malts took a back seat in the beer and it really didn't taste much like a Vienna Lager. Although it does state "vienna lager" on the can it is closer in style to an American Lager. There was also a bit of vegital aroma to the beer which could be off-putting to some. It's a decent enough beer to drink but the odd aftertaste that starts to build up wears on the palate, so I would recommend drinking it with a palate cleanser to keep the fruity flavors fresh. As a whole I wouldn't recommend for or against, but I wouldn't buy it again.
