Last one on the shelf at the Vintage Estate, Was told it wasn't as sour as others with a slight peppery kick so it might be right up my alley. Looks of bright yellow exploding in carbonation bubbles feeding but dissipate the head rather quickly. Smell is strangely not very sour slight vinegar or dill wafting up my nose might be old since its release was August of last year. Still anxious to take a sip. Huh as other stated its kind of lacing not much of any vinegar punch in fact to me its like a plain lager with just the tiniest pinch of peppercorn and dill flavors. Kind of sad I had Kettle sours with more punch this beer gets a pass on me for future purchases unless they can tweak the recipe and deliver more pickle!

Pale greenish-white gold with a very thin white blanket that disperses to a ring instantly.
I love Wickles! But this isn't super pickley. It's more like a salty brine from a classic Cleveland-Jewish deli, though not too salty, but not featuring much dill, vinegar or other spices either. Backed by blonde sort of ricey corn, it's surprisingly bland to be honest.
I wanted the explosive flavor that Wickles Dirty Dill provides, but it's not even as flavorful as a standard pickle.

Pale yellow in color with an active white head that quickly faded to nothing. Nose was slightly peppery and ever so slightly pickle juice. Taste was not as strong as I thoughgt it would be. Light pickle flavor. Decent tinge of heat on the throat.

Pale yellow body; excellent carbonation; initial fair head, relatively thick and white, eventually fades completely away. Rather pleasant mild pickle juice aroma. Tastes like pickle juice with a very slight sense of being a sour beer; dill; briny. Medium body; generally smooth; very faint sourness.
I wouldn't readily pickup a beer like this, but this was gifted to me. It actually ain't bad for what it is. I'd have another one. With a big juicy cheeseburger and some fries to go with it.
Pouring temperature: 46 °F; canning info: BATCH 2386 08/24/22

ONE PINT can
Served in a tulip glass
This beer pours pale yellow and clear. It is topped with less than an inch of white head that leaves no lacing.
Great briny, pickle smell
Dill pickle and salty taste. Actually, refreshing
Thin bodied with a smooth, effervescent mouthfeel
If you like pickle juice and beer this is the beer for you!

While sour ale is al the rage, its predictable to see brewers reach far and wide for inspiration to fuel their tart intentions. Hi-Wire teams up with Wickles pickle manufacturer for a briny, vegetal, herbal and spicy character to add to their beer.
Wickles Pickle Beer pours a rather dull gold and held in a foggy haze before settling under a fast-fleeting froth. With the scent of dill, cucumber, pickling spices and vinous tartness creates a sense of curiosity on the nose, the first sip leads in with a drier malt complement of sourdough, sweet brine and soft suggestions of honeysuckle.
With the sourness ushering in a brisk refreshment the taste soon trends pickle as the malts dissolve on the middle palate. Pickling spices have a bold say in the beer's taste while cucumbers seem more basil and melon-like and the tartness sees a briny path of pickle juice. Juicy in its taste, a late tartness leads to limited spice and only an mild tartness in tow.
Tepid in its intensity, the beer's pickle character isn't all that bold, nor is its sourness. Those looking to tip their toes into the flavors of pickle in their beer will find this the baby step that they need. Finishing somewhat watery and thin, the beer drinks easy enough but simply lacks luster on the more adventurous palate.
