I'm seeing a lot of clear pours on Untappd, but mine was unusually turbid and colorless, a sort of creamy white. Oh I guess that was just the draft pour coming out almost like nitro, finally settled up to a short white foam head.
More toasty and salty than tart, kind of like damp cracker, the lime comes in after, kind of candied, kind of like Kool-Aid, but not too sweet.

So, beer making isn't enough, and brewers have to take on mixology as well? The mixed cultures of Hi-Wire manifests in a bracingly tart ale that's highlighted by copious amounts of limes for a margarita inspired ale. Hi-Wire brewers simply can't help themselves.
Margarita Sour pours with a golden straw hue that's cast in a fine wheaten cloud. Its cottony white swath of foam is followed by the puckering scent of salted and candied limes, true lactic acids and a faint drift of sea air, burlap and weathered wood. A gentle sweetness graces the tongue with a light candied taste of taffy, pastry and sourdough.
Like pop rocks on the middle palate, the acidity explodes to bring the limes to life. Quickly shedding anything sweet, the essence of lime develops a winey and cidery taste laced with gooseberry, lemon and sour white grape. Intensifying in its sourness, the late palate is cleanly of citrus and faint funk as its wincing acidity teases and taunts the senses.
Medium-light in body, the beer's acids and alcohol dry the palate like a bubbly margarita. A brief aftertaste of branch ripened lime and mild salinity flutter away in a highly thirst quenching, refreshing, crisp and clean finish. Its a simple sour ale with a one-note palate, but its sheer intensity definitely makes up for its lack in depth.
