red tinted brown ale with fine lace fit for a princess.
Whoa, I didn't expect to be so impressed. Cherry ale aged a month in bourbon barrels, vintage unknown. I'm new to bourbon barrel aging, but you can't look beyond it. It comes across big with almond, bitter almond, and vanilla. Cherries are pervasive in the nose too. But the flavor carries right into that barrel with the afore mentioned flavors topped with toasted BIG coconuts. Sprinke this with bakers chocolate, and sweet malt. There's a crisp, tightly packed-powder puff girl-carbonation, and oh, yeah deep cherry flavor abounds. Is that a mint leaf floating across the finish. Dandy fine beer. Makes me love bourbon even more!
