“30 years ago, this was the place to be. People crowded around the bar. It was always full. It was a real get-to-know-you pub,” says Dunja Kamencic about the local brewery and restaurant Calwer Eck. Her voice resonates with melancholy. Because the institution with cult character in Calwer Straße, which had already been closed since December 31, is finally history as of Wednesday.
