On tap:
Pours an autumnal amber with a light reddish tan head that runs to the edges quickly. The bubbles are a little large before thinning out to a fishing wire along the glass.
Nose is malty with a bit of spicy hops. Toasted whole grain cracker notes, maybe some cherry wood like notes (kinda hard explaining the malt profile), definitely some noble hops-like notes. Seems pretty on point.
Taste hits with actually a little fruit-sweet maltiness - similar to the nose but, well... more fructose like sweetness. The hops balance nicely, with a little bite as well as a clean bittering effect. There does seem a bit of alcohol bite for a 5.4% beer, to the point of being noticeable where it shouldn't, but not destroying the beer.
The beer isn't destroyed, but this slightly off taste, in my opinion, did affect my enjoyment of the beer. If that one point were cleaned up, I'm thinking .3 points higher, maybe more.

Pours crystal clear and orange in color with a 2 finger white head that dissipates rather quickly leaving a bit of thin foam on the surface and a ring around the glass. No lacing.
Smell of cherries and toasted nuts with doughy bread and lemon from the glass. A little over ripe citrus from the bottle but primarily nutty malt.
Cherry is dominant, with toasted nuts frequently punching through. Light sweet malt with caramel and a bit of lemon.
Light to moderate in body, but it's sticky enough to coat the tongue and lips. Light sting of carbonation.
This was a surprise, the best I've yet sampled from Sunken City. This beer has a lot going on. I really liked the cherry.
