L-Hazy but not turbid gold color.

S-A big hit of passion fruit as well as Guava...also strong lemon notes..Lemon leads the way

T-Same as above...Guava, Passion Fruit and lemons with a light crackery malt base..

F-Medium bodied...dry finish....just a touch of bitterness...not oversweet.

O-Good IPA...probably a bit dry for some NE IPA lovers but I find it enjoyable .

Canned 11/14/22 (2 months ago)

Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (10% clarity) medium golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 7-8. (4.00)

Aroma: Moderate aromas of passionfruit citrus, grapefruit citrus, some tropical melon and juicy pineapple underneath. But mostly citrus. (3.75)

Flavor: Moderate flavors of grapefruit citrus, lemon citrus, passionfruit citrus, hints of tropical and melon notes. Juicy, but drinks clean. (4.00)

Feel: Lighter-bodied, strong carbonation. Finish is clean and dry. (4.25)

Compared to Hop Butcher Meet the Citras 1/14/2023: Pours darker, milder aromas and flavors. More passionfruit, grapefruit citrus. Less juicy, tropical notes. Dryer, cleaner. Winner: Hop Butcher

Overall: An alright NEIPA here. Light and cleaner. Passionfruit and grapefruit citrus mostly. A little weak and I think drops the ball on the flavor and mouthfeel a bit. Honestly it's good, but expected a bit more here. Improves at it warms (Rating: 3.97)

This has a lot initially going for it. Dull deep hazy golden with a decent offwhite head. I can smell the tropical scent just wafting out of this huge can. Juicy to start this has some slight early sweetness that quickly get taken over by a bitter turning finish. Not overly bitter, this beer is fairly even. Creamy thicker feel, I think this is pretty decent here.

All hazed up. If you want to drink an IPA these days, you got to take 'em hazed. Golden hued, large and lasting snowy white head.

In the nose: Bursting with citrus notes. Bright and lively. Orange, grapefruit, and lemon.

In the mouth: big hops, and big juicy. Citrus explosion, mitigated by the haze, and the low IBU. I could take a little more bitterness, but this is the style, and so. Medium bodied, soft, smooth, just the right amount of hop flavors and occasional bitterness to keep him happy, and quite delicious.

Sometimes I have to take a step back, stop complaining about the over-proliferation of the NE IPA, and just relax and enjoy. This is definitely one of those times.

25.4oz canned on 3-18-20. Opened 5-16-20.
6.7% according to the label, listed here at 6%.
2 finger white head - dense and long-lasting. Leaves thick lacing in its wake. Fully opaque orange juice color on a nice pour. Fully integrated from the first part of the pour, no change, in other words none of this clear pour for 15oz and then sludgy crap for the last ounce that makes it "hazy", I appreciate the good solid pour. Thick, patchy lacing all the way down. Good looking beer.
Pineapple, orange peel, lime, zesty citrus. Ripe citrus and tropical flavors and aromas.
Full body, soft mouthfeel. Low bitterness. Hop drenched, ripe fruit filled, long and off-dry finish. Textbook feel.
Drinkability is very high on this one, loaded with flavor and a great look and feel.
Very Good to Outstanding.

750ml can served in a big snifter. Packaged 3/18/20. Gift from @mr-jj.

Pours hazy pale yellow with a huge head. Lots of carbonation. Smell is green mango and a little pine resin.

Taste is pretty similar to the aroma, except maybe the mango is a little stronger and there's a clear bitter finish.

Mouthfeel is medium to light, somewhat dry. Overall, nice beer.

Oil can from Tavour. Murky, thick pour, looks like pear nectar. Aromatic hops, herbal, grassy , floral, citrus and stone fruit. Taste brings in more of the fruity notes, soft sweetness, light bitterness, musty and dusty. Pretty full for a low ABV IPA.

L: murky gold under a lacy 1" ecru foam collar with good retention

S: tropical fruit and citrus aroma with some herb notes, traces of onion, a hint of hard candy, lactose and a trace of biscuit

T: tastes fruity and milk shaky flavored by grapefruit, lemon, biscuit and a faint hint of tobacco and a little citrus rind and pith

F: full bodied beer with medium carbonation

O: The juicy, pulpy, creamy texture and the balance between the big flavors and the big hops makes this beer

Crowler filled 03/16/18. ABV listed on can is 7.1%. Murky orange color with a dense head that left behind plenty of lacing. Aroma is herbal, grassy, with mint, pine and citrus. Flavor starts off a bit medicinal but evolves in a nice herbal and citrus ending. A little too sweet for my liking and could of used more attention during fermentation. I do not feel they got the most out of this hop combination.

Poured from 750ml crowler into glass. Fill date of '08/29/17'.
Body is hazy golden/orange color. Three finger slightly white off white head to persistent fluffy cap. Spots of lacing on all sides of the glass.
Smells of dank and citrus.
Tastes of dank and citrus hops, some slightly bitter pith at the tail end, also slightly sweet throughout.
Medium, coating mouth feel. Very drinkable.
Holds up very well in the crowler can. Attractive to look at, and very tasty as a less bitter, hazy IPA. Not as sweet as a true NE IPA, very crushable.
