It's tart, cold, and carbonated. It's... SUPER SLURP! ...A series of fruited sour ales brewed with lactose and vanilla beans. This one is with raspberry as the fruit.

Poured from crowler can into glass. Fill date stamped as '5/23/18',
Red berry colored body. One finger pinkish head settles to interrupted cap. Some rings of lacing left behind on the glass.
Total raspberry in the aroma. Could be joined by the vanilla and lactose sweetness but difficult to tell.
Tastes like raspberry puree, joined by a leveling addition of the vanilla and lactose.
Medium to slurpy mouth feel. Rather tart and dry.
As presented this is a fruited sour ale, and this one is tasty with raspberry. I think more tart than sour but certainly some aspects of both. Behind the tart/sour fruit is the sweetness of the vanilla and lactose. This series should be popular during the warmer months, but be aware of the 6.5%ABV. Totally easy to slam hard. Would like to see a rhubarb version.
