"Crikey, mate, we've got a live one!!" We brewed this Imperial IPA with three of our favorite Australian "cheater hops," Vic Secret, Galaxy, and Enigma.

Hazy as your favorite expletive. murky goldish hue. Large, lush creamy head.

In the nose: Fresh and fuzzy. All kinds of hoppiness. Citrus and tropical and fuzz. Bright and beautiful.

In the mouth: Juicy, thick, huge. Bombastic. Fantastic. Boolah, boolahs. Wow! Turgid. Blistering citrus flavor, tropical topicals , too. Mushy malts. Fuzz everywhere on the palate. Thickness, richness, and all the hops. Murky, yeah.

This is where the notes conclude. The author could not be reached for further comment. Perhaps this post was published posthumously?

A: The beer is very, very hazy yellow in color and has some slight hues of amber. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass, a narrow collar around the edge, and a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of herbs, pine and pineapple are present in the nose.
T: the taste has flavors of herbs along with notes of pine and hints of pineapple and honeydew melon. A slight amount of bitterness and alcohol is perceptible.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied and a little juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a heavy dose of hops - particularly in the smell. While most of the alcohol is hidden from the taste, it's definitely a slow sipper given the herbal and piney flavors of hops.

750ml can served in a big snifter. Packaged 11/09/20. Gift from @mr-jj.

Pours a very murky yellow with a medium head. Smell is something tropical with a strong resin. Something harsh and green. Definitely some pineapple.

Taste is pineapple and bitter citrus zest. Some resin, and a harsh bitterness of some sort.

Mouthfeel is thick, a little filmy, not too effervescent. Overall, it's not bad, but it's not great.

Big 750ml can from Tavour. Pours a nice thick, murky mustard color with a thin cap of foamy head. Aroma is overripe fruit and a ton of hops. Taste is a full on hop assault, dank and bitter, citrus peel, melon, pine. A real kick in the mouth. Plenty of warmth too, at 10.5%.
