Look and smell is unassuming but it tastes amazing. Great smooth mouthfeel ....one of the better (triple) IPAs I've had. Great stuff.

Enjoyed their canned beers and decided to swing by the tasting room.
A- Dark orange/amber in color with a sturdy white head. Looks hefty and malty.
S- BIG aroma of tropical fruit, fresh cut grass, grapefruit, and hop resin. Some sweet (caramel?) malt in there too, but big and hoppy in the aroma.
T- Big hop flavor and bitterness off the bat. Luckily, as expected, there is a big malt body to balance it. Sweet caramel, citrus, melon, mango. A little heat on the finish. Very nice. Would be curious to see how it changes as it warms. It didn't last long enough :)
M- Medium-full body with a slick finish. Moderate carbonation.
O- This is a pretty unique double IPA, not to mention big at 10.7%. Strays away from the big big booze, citrus, pine Double IPA combo so often found. A little more malt than expected, but it works well with the unique tropical fruit undertones.
