this is really good, probably the best i have had from sanitas to date. unfortunately for this beer, i had a cinnamon coffee bbomb from fermont last week, so my standards for this sort of thing are extremely high right now. it definitely doesnt measure up to that one, nothing does, but its an equally solid use of cinnamon, as an accent flavor and not over the top, hard to not e heavy handed with it, so job well done there. the beer looks and feels a little thinner than i want it to, but the flavors are great. the vanilla is in front of the cinnamon and its not sweet really at all. the chocolate notes in the grain get picked up well, and there is a fine espresso like bitterness to the back end here thats a great finish. cinnamon lingers a little bit, but its not hot or out of place. everything comes together really nicely in this, and i love its dryness, doesnt taste like dessert to me. if it had just a little more body and creaminess it would be even better, but i like this one a lot, and appreciate the use of difficult ingredients here. very tasty brew this time of year as the snow falls.
