Munich Lager

This isn't quite your typical Oktoberfest or Marzen. They call it a Munich lager, and that's pretty close to a festbier profile, but it's missing the overall sweetness and maltiness. It's definitely not as sweet as the neighboring Vienna lager in any case. But it's pretty solid nonetheless, not too hoppy but also not too light or mellow like a pale lager. It's a nice in-between flavor, if that's what you are after in a fall beer.

L: Pours a brilliant copper orange color with a small white head and no lacing on the glass.

S: Lots of sweet caramel and toffee, very malty with a slight hop, smells very comforting.

T: Smooth caramel and toffee, mixes with some nice earthiness, a very rich and tasty lager.

F: Fuller body, smooth carbonation.

O: This is a very enjoyable malty lager.
