Overall, this is a beautiful raspberry red colored beer with tons of the fruits influence in aroma and flavor. Very light feeling with a bubbly carbonation. Easy to drink, and ultimately like drinking diluted raspberry juice.

Cheers.

This is the best raspberry I have ever tried, it is a little sour like they say, but doesn’t taste like a real sour bacteria, more like the the sour is from the added berries to the secondary. That being said it is very easy to drink more than one, where most raspberries after 1 or 2 is all you can drink. I’m a home brewer for over 37 years who makes a lot of raspberry beers and this one is on my top so far.

Bottle from Brewers Haven. One word...underwhelming. Pours out a clear pink, with huge foamy pink head. Muted aroma, raspberries of course. Taste is also berries, but kind of weak, and bone dry. The dryness distracts from the overall taste. Almost seems like the raspberries were an afterthought, or an accent, and not the entire purpose of the beer.

Draft at the Growler Guys in Meridian... Pours a slightly hazed pinkish... Firm white head, nice lacing... Big raspberry on the nose and the palate, but more like the essence of the berry, not quite enough maltiness to really make the fruit translate... Something tart that I guess is hibiscus adds a good layer of complexity... Very interesting, but a small goblet was more than enough.

I had this beer on-tap in a big taster glass at Oregon Brewers Festival.

Appearance: bright red with plenty of haze and pink foam head. What a raspberry beer ought to be.

Smell: lightly tart fruity aroma with only a hint of raspberry character. It's mostly kind of a nondescript tartness. It's OK.

Taste: light wheaty character with a big raspberry punch. It's good, but it's almost like it's dried out too much. Fruity, but it could be a little smoother or something.

Mouthfeel: medium light body with a light carbonation and not too much creaminess at all. Eh.

Overall: it's an alright raspberry beer but it doesn't blow me away.
