Grunt fill from Albertsons. Hazy, opaque dark amber, let’s some light through around the edges. Small skin of silky beige head. Yeast aroma also highlights dome roasty, toffee malt. Candy sugar comes out in the taste, a bit sweet. Saison, yeasty notes finish the brew, tiny amount of bitterness. Interesting mix, but I’d prefer a straight up Saison any day.

Draft at Messenger Pizza... Pours mostly clear walnut brown... okay off white head... Saison notes are light and bubblegummy with the light background dark maltiness.. a bit of clove and pepper.. grassy hoppiness/yeasty notes... Pretty interesting. I'd buy this one again for sure.
